Domain Names
A domain name (or web address) is your unique internet address and specifies the location of your website on the internet. When you register your domain name you will usually also get a matching email address. For example:
Domain Name:
www.companyname.co.uk
Email Address:
you@companyname.co.uk
To check the availability of your chosen domain name, please enter the name in the domain checker opposite and click 'Check Domain'
Domain names must be between 3 and 30 characters long (excluding the extension), and can be made up from: a - z, 0 - 9 and the hyphen (-) character.
Once you have registered your domain name it can then be made to point to your website where you can promote yourself and/or your business.
